LI: We are learning to follow Marae protocol and develop instructions for others to follow.


Success Criteria:
We will have
• organised and sequenced our ideas.
• used ordering devices like numbers or bullet points
• used a variety of linking and sequence words e.g., first, next, after, then, before, when
Used direct/explicit language to guide the reader e.g. Hold flax tightly between thumb and forefingers, with thumbs facing towards body.
• used sectioning or paragraphing where it suits the writing
• written sentences correctly i.e., caps, full stops, question mark, exclamation


1. Make a mind map of want you know about the Tutereinga Marae and a powhiri.
